    Design the plan structure

    Plans are product strategy - structure before styling.

Produce: 2-3 plans (including free tier decision with reasoning); the ONE primary value metric that scales across plans (users understand it: items, seats, volume); what each plan includes and its price with the logic; which plan is recommended and why; and the upgrade trigger - the moment a user outgrows each plan.     Write the plan copy

    Each plan sells a situation, not a feature list.

    Write the pricing page copy: a page headline framing the decision ('Start free, upgrade when X'); per plan - a one-line who-it-is-for, the price with billing terms, 4-6 bullets of what you can DO (verb-first, value metric prominent), and the CTA text per plan (action-specific); the recommended plan's flag copy; and a money-back/cancel-anytime reassurance line if true.

    Build the page

    Implement the page with hierarchy, states, and responsiveness.

    Build the pricing page: plan cards with the recommended one visually elevated (border/badge/scale); a billing toggle if monthly/annual exists (with the annual discount computed correctly); prices, bullets, CTAs per the copy; responsive stacking on mobile with the recommended plan first; consistent with the app's design system. If prices come from config/backend, wire them so a price change does not require a copy hunt.

  4. 04

    Add the FAQ and trust layer

    Handle the objections that stall the decision.

    Write and add the pricing FAQ: 5-7 real objections (what happens when I hit the limit, can I change plans, refunds/cancellation, is my data safe, what counts as [value metric], team pricing if relevant) each answered honestly in 2-3 sentences; place reassurance near CTAs; add honest social proof if any exists (users, ratings - never fabricated).

    Wire and verify the CTAs

    The page succeeds only if the buttons complete the journey.

    Wire and test every pricing CTA: free plan CTA into signup (works end to end); paid plan CTAs into checkout/upgrade if billing exists, or a waitlist/contact capture that actually stores the lead (verify persistence); logged-in users see context-aware CTAs (current plan marked, upgrade paths only); verify the in-product limits actually match the displayed plan limits. Test every path and report results.
